Newegg listing November 4th, today:

Did Newegg sell out their known incoming quantity of boards as Pre-Orders in 48hours? OR did they simply change the purchasing status?

Who knows right?

Did anyone grab a pre-order?

That's it, hands down I'm moving to Colorado. Those cold mountains for running ice cold daily OCs, and no darn hurricanes.

Growlers, lol. 😄

Gf says she wants to move to where the plains end and the mountains begin in Colorado. So we might be neighbors this year Braegnok bro. Come over and we'll (overvolt) blow up some old hardware. lol

Sounds like fun,.. I'll bring my Z690 Apex & a can of lighter fluid.

I'm going with a chassis for the Z790 Apex build, ordered chassis from the egg and ordered a filter kit from PPCs.

Chassis on the way. 97293

Filter kit on the way. 97294

The black box has arrived.

Bestest looking black box evah! Congratulations Braegnok bro!:cool::cool:

I LOVE black and white builds. Very cool chassis man! 😛 PPCS is like only 10miles from me, good guys! 🙂

Add some Bitspower Deluxe White 3/8 x 5/8 Ultimate fittings "from PPCS" and some MDPC-X custom Triple XXX white PSU cables from Titan Rig in Texas.

BEAUTIFUL!

Z690 Apex Bonfire! lol You're terrible man! 😛

Fittings EKWB STC 10/16 Satin Titanium.
97300

For sleaving over the EPDM tubing,.. I'm leaning towards The Turquoise XXX.

97301

And MDPC-X XTC custom small cable sleaving on the power cables.

Whoa Lord Braegnok, what's going on inside you? I ADORE that Turquoise XXX sleaving and cabling with the Z790 Apex OUTSTANDING brotha! Titan Rig is the only US approved custom cable provider for Germany's MDPC-X sleeving and you get to choose black or white wires below the sleeving. I chose white so the cables would be extremely bright.

Grab an estimate for you 24pin and (2) 8pins from Titan Rig in the XXX Turquoise so gorgeous, it won't be more than $100dollars worth of absolute beauty! 😛

Maybe $150. 🙂

MIND BLOWN. lol 🙂

Okay a ton of settings ended up getting changed that I did not change with XMP1. I'm going to go through there and manually set these now.

Windows now actually boots with XMP1.

OK. Here is where I am at now.

I set VDDQ and VDD to 1.5 along with Memory Controller to 1.5 as well. I am at 8000mhz, 34 46 46 46 121 2T. I am booting into Windows. I have not yet tested for stability.

I wanted to ask what is the current stress test for memory that people use? Do I boot to it or run it in Windows?

I don't like leaving things on Auto if possible. What should BLCK Frequency : DRAM Frequency Ratio and Memory Controller : DRAM Frequency Ratio be set to?

I'm happy you can boot at 8000 34 46 46 121, awesome.

But please don't keep changing values that might lead to instability, you are getting a bit ahead of yourself. Get 8000 stable and save that profile and then go back and change values.

I would not change or add MC voltage yet, just leave it alone using the value already set by your 7800 kit's XMP profile.

Leave SVID alone for now.

Download TM5 memory stabliity testing software here: https://mega.nz/file/vLhxBahB#WwJIpN3mQOaq_XsJUboSIcaMg3RlVBWvFnVspgJpcLY

I know you're excited, lol but TM5 stablity test is not easy to pass. Pass that stability test first - then adjust other settings and timings AFTER you have a stable and saved 7800 XMP profile and 8000 profile.

I know the speed at 8000 is EXTREMELY fun - but only if you are stable. 🙂
