Newegg listing November 2nd and 3rd:

96062

Newegg listing November 4th, today:

96063

Did Newegg sell out their known incoming quantity of boards as Pre-Orders in 48hours? OR did they simply change the purchasing status?

Who knows right?

Did anyone grab a pre-order?

Official SP numbers for my 13600K i5 6core CPU:

Overall SP 67 SP P-cores 72 SP E-cores 59 MC SP 35. What a Stinker. 😞

Every time I play the silicon lottery I lose.

The 13900KS is like a binned CPU with a factory Per-Core OC of 6.0Ghz applied to two cores and the other six cores set to AUTO.

Sounds like your setup continues to be super sweet 🙂 Not saying the SN850X is a problem, but there have been two threads about it recently, so just wanted to be sure that you hadn't missed them...

It's a BEAUTIFUL DREAM I had to wait 10years to watch actually materialize.

So OCN admins send me a trolling warning telling me I'm "right on the edge" for simply stating the Apex is most likely a better motherboard than the Hero for ddr5 mem kit overclocking.

Then the OCN admins send me another message stating their banning app has not been on a hair trigger and not working properly lately. WHAT?

Who the HECK would even GO BACK THERE?

You'd better be a good boy then, lol. Nothing wrong with what you said at all. So what is if the Apex is better than the Hero for DDR5 speeds. It costs more, so you'd hope so. Very odd. Probably is an error on their part.

+1 better be a good boy,.. lol

Nowadays folks get there panty's in a bind quickly if you make a statement on a forum claiming one motherboard vs another is better at overclocking DDR5,.. even if your statement is backed up with facts.

Back in November 2022 Amberger was getting set-up to do his Hynix A Die review, he had just received a new Z790 Apex board. Was overclocking and taking screen shots, and his new Z790 Apex **** it's pants at 7800MHz and was done. He had a Z790 Hero on hand and with same CPU, memory, settings,.. the Hero was stable,.. lol

He posted a thread about the ordeal and received a lot of interesting comment's in response to his post,..

In short the first Z790 Apex was faulty, and was sent in for RMA,.. the new Z790 Apex board reached 8400MHz with no issues.

Well I've had NO issues with my Z790 Apex so no idea why anyone would be hating on me, only trying to share.

Possibly the ROG mods they REALLY TRULY HATE me.

I should go somewhere else.
