Newegg listing November 4th, today:

Did Newegg sell out their known incoming quantity of boards as Pre-Orders in 48hours? OR did they simply change the purchasing status?

Who knows right?

Did anyone grab a pre-order?

That's a great solution, very neat. Don't forget to tighten your pump connections after you've filled it with coolant. Otherwise, enjoy the special fountain effect lol

LOL, that photo taken loop was still dry lol. Used a hobby brush to add a small amount of Dupont silicon lubricant to the Bitspower Ultimate threads and tubing runs yet none on the inner tubing or barbs of course. lol

Loop completed burped and filled - didn't have to chase down any leaks. 🙂

Yeah, I was only joking of course. Just noticed in that picture, there is a second guy at the bottom with his head submerged. Wow.

They're going to need a couple of large towels 🙂

LOL 😛

Spray a tiny bit of this into the red cap then tiny hobby brush on a light coat right before tightening your fittings. 🙂

DO NOT use on barbs or inner tubing surface, obviously, lol, keep them as dry as possible for secure fit.

Was planning on going with this CL test bench chassis for Raptor Lake but 5rads and reservoir is so overly complicated with tubing runs and fittings, way too complicated.

Looks nice though with the wheels.

Brucey - I think you said you had 4 Fenix torches. If I got one, which do you like the best? I was looking at the TK16 and PD35 Pro. I'd be happy to know which is your favourite though.

John I like the smaller/lighter torch PD36 TAC for PC building. Yet if you plan on getting only one, they have a great deal right now on the TK16 V2.0, with discount $79 and ya get a smaller 2nd lamp also. And Fenix will engrave it for free and shipping is free.

Wait until next week and a Black Friday Sale, maybe another 20%off. lol 🙂

My oldest Fenix

TK35UE 2000lumens older battery technology, must remove (2) batteries and place in separate charger for 6hrs to 8hrs to charge - about 6-7years old, never had to buy new batteries ever, end cap switches.

PD40R 3000lumens newest battery tech 500mAh battery 21700 recharge with USB-C cable without opening the torch about 4yrs old, never replaced the original battery, rotary switch, charges in 1-2hrs from empty.

TK16 3100lumens another 500mAh 21700 battery yet USB-C recharge is direct to the battery so must remove from housing, reinforced to break car windows about 2yrs old never replaced the battery, throws light a great distance outdoors, end cap switches.

PD36TAC 3000lumens 500mAh 21700 battery again direct USB-C cable to the battery, about 2yrs old, "does not" throw light very far, very lightweight my favorite PC building torch a better indoor close-range police type torch, never replaced the battery, end cap switches.

Fenix gives you 20% OFF your first purchase as a new customer with new email, so needless to say I have (4) separate Fenix new customer email accounts. lol. 🙂 They don't mind, the initial cost is high, so if you're the type who buys a flashlight and places it in a drawer hardly ever uses it, just get a standard flashlight with AA or D batteries.

Yet if you use torches a great deal then cost of ownership over time is cheaper with the Fenix torches, I mean around here AA disposable batteries are about $30 for a 6month supply for me, over 6years that's $360, plus they don't achieve the brightness levels of the better torches.

I haven't bought a new torch in 2years, but for PC building I'd go with the newer version of the PD36TAC rechargeable.

LED at the battery + terminal moves from red to blue when fully charged, cool.

And make sure you get your 20%off new customer discount code. 🙂

Also, I use the Fenix torches to fix things around the house, I don't "call the guy" I do it myself if I can, that saves a lot of money...

They also offer torch headlamps awesome if you build your own PSU cables or any super-detailed PC work.

Nice and thanks for the detailed info and pictures. I appreciate your thoughts. Getting a code and waiting for a Black Friday deal is a top tip. I probably wouldn't have thought of either lol. Think I prefer the direct USB-C charging to the torch, rather than to the battery, so possibly the PD40R might be good for me. I already have that little Nicron B70 with a magnetic base ideal for PC work etc, and with the twisty head it's very versatile. However, I was thinking that something a bit brighter for walking the dogs in the dark evenings would be useful. They all look well made and solid, so I'll continue to have a think...

Mind you, price per lumen is 5x cheaper so that's a bargain. Of course, I'm not really going to spend 400 GBP on a torch, not unless I have funny turn 😛
