Newegg listing November 4th, today:

Did Newegg sell out their known incoming quantity of boards as Pre-Orders in 48hours? OR did they simply change the purchasing status?

Who knows right?

Did anyone grab a pre-order?

How can Gskill possibly be achieving this OC with modules air-cooled?

So it's most likely an 8000 2x24 or 8200 2x24 kit overclocked? Hyper-binned 13900K and mem kit obviously, but still.

How can they run 8800 stable on air? 🤔

Looks like a quality case, but not my taste. Too many fiddly bits for me. I do get the sense that Lian Li are going to have some really good case options before long, they seem to be doing cases that look really good already. Likely to get better and better. Nice times ahead for PC building I think. I still love the idea of going open, makes so much sense, but with 2 dogs in this part of the house I just don't think it's an option for the main machine which will be on for 16 hours a day. Dust nightmare. Works for the 5600G just fine, but that one is only turned on now and again. I like to use it for software testing mainly at the moment - risk free.

Simply use a DataVac blower 2times per week John, that's all you need to do.

OR Blow-Vac with DataVac blower and ShopVac vacuum simultaneously.

Also, I have a Blueair Pro M air filtration running low speed 1 in the office 24/7 - NO dust issues at all with a test bench. 🤗

And vacuum your darn floor. lolol 🤣

This air cleaner $699, no way I'm not paying that - got mine for $280. Now they are $223 brand new. Gotta look for the super-great deals when you work from home. 👍

Good suggestion, I also have an air filter which helps. I've also just ordered some small brushes that will fit the vacuum cleaner and allow me to clean PC parts a bit better - should get into the smaller spaces.

As it's summer here now, so I can have the door open to the garden which also helps to reduce dust. Mind you, the dogs have been moulting for the last month, so they can generate a bag of hair every day lol. Big fluffy dogs don't help with clean computers. It's the battle that never ends 🤣

I also have a 3kW blower designed for blasting out dog hair and it's great. I also use that for cleaning the PC once every few months. Just have to be careful not to blast the fans and spin them up to 20,000 rpm lol.

The DataVac blower I'm using now is the older sku, one speed only and it's HIGH. Too darn high for say blowing clean a socket with pins.

Yet, MetroVac has launched variable speed blowers and I want one for Panther Lake.

You go test bench for Z990 John and I'll send you my DataVac blower ESD in black, and I'll pay shipping to UK 👍

Photo is above. 👍

Here you go John, Greek salad this time with organic greens white onion feta crumbles and Kalamata olives soaked in Cabernet red wine and herbs, dressing is creamy asiago and caesar - it's a spicy salad.  😁

...served to me in a plastic non-fancy popcorn bowl. 🤣

So I tightened the primary timings then I just increased the fresh interval to 65280. Decreased tWRRDsg from default 86 to 64. Just a little better. Before and after.

Outstanding work, you are my hero Mr. Hopper! 😄

What's your SAV?

Seems like we're all trying to achieve 8200 34 for daily with different kits 🤣

So Fun - So Amazing! 😂

I left the SAV on Auto under XMP1. I think it’s about 1.32V or in that ballpark. I am going to try that TG 8000 32G kit at 8200 as I think I can get better OC with the decreased density. 8400 I would think is possible. The new refresh of Raptor Lake might make things easier too here in a few months.

Did you enable Round Trip Latency?

My SAV is 1.313v for 8200 36 - the XMP value from 8000 38.

For 8200 34 I dropped SAV to 1.260v.

Decreased a voltage for a tighter/stronger overclock? 🤔

So far I've only seen SAV carry that characteristic - lower can be better for 8200 34. 👍
