Newegg listing November 4th, today:

Did Newegg sell out their known incoming quantity of boards as Pre-Orders in 48hours? OR did they simply change the purchasing status?

Who knows right?

Did anyone grab a pre-order?

I remember DDR4 stuck at 4800 for about 2years.

Now in one gen 6800 to 8800.

Are ya gonna take a look at the ROG refresh boards John?

Braegnok and Mr. Hopper are saying - "That 8800 CL40 2x24 could be an overclock, not an XMP kit"

Yep, you could be correct, yet Klevv has already announced an 8600 XMP 2x24 kit.

In the Computex video at the Gskill booth, the screen above the 8800, oc or kit display, the screenshots are too blurry to see what exact kit is being used.

Take a look yourself, see if you can see any xmp kit information.

Dang it,.. I can't find my GPU Support Bracket for my Praxis Wet Bench,.. been looking for it for hours. 😂

If your GPU support bracket is handy, can you post a photo of it,.. so I know what I'm looking for,.. lol

Edit: I found it Oorah!,.. 😅

My WetBench SX PCIe card bracket now lives in the parts drawer, not needed with the RTX A2000 12GB card. Placed two sorbo washers under the bottom of the card for support - perfect no wobble at all card snaps into place tight. 🤗

Here's a pic anyway when I was drilling the passthroughs ie: metal shavings everywhere.

Thanks,.. 😍

it was a very long day today,.. I've been putting it off for a while.

But this morning was the dreaded teardown of the AM5 X670E system to make room on the bench for the new Z790 Apex System.

The AM5 was in a chassis, fully water cooled CPU, GPU, and RAM with 13-case fans, dust filters, fully loaded Aquaero 6 with,.. Temp, RPM, Flow Rate, Fans, etc. power supply,.. the whole works needed to be tore down and cleaned, packaged, and labeled, and stored.

After that I started putting together the Praxis Wet Bench, which was not packaged, labeled the last time I tore it down, so parts were all over,.. lol

But I managed to get the Apex system completely finished, and I'm leak testing the loop now.

Will be loading Windows in the morning, testing new system. I'm hoping for a good SP rating on the CPU,.. as I do not want to tear down everything, and pull CPU to return it with hopes for a higher SP rating.

I think overall SP 100 is the least I will except, hoping for 112-114,.. anything below 90 is a potato with the 13900KF chips. My batch number is very high, and thus not found on any bin sites data sheets,.. mine is 300xxxx, and the highest on any bin site is 246xxxx,.. so that was no luck checking batch numbers, hoping for good SP batch.

Will find out SP rating, and if everything works tomorrow,.. fingers crossed. https://www.igorslab.de/intel-13th-gen-raptor-lake-binning-ueber-500-cpus-angetestet-teil-1-i9-13900...

Lord Braegnok, if the 13900KF doesn't meet you expectations just remember the new Raptor Lake Refresh KS binned chips will be arriving in a few months. 👍

A fresh batch of KS before the end of the year with 6.2Ghz 2cores stock out of the box, so 6.4Ghz all 8Pcores using TVB OC +2. (so say the current rumors) 😄

What goes better with a gorgeous ROG Z790 Apex 13900KS Gskill 8000 black and white water-cooled typewriter build?

A pair of black and white easy hikers - of course. 🤗
