Newegg listing November 2nd and 3rd:

96062

Newegg listing November 4th, today:

96063

Did Newegg sell out their known incoming quantity of boards as Pre-Orders in 48hours? OR did they simply change the purchasing status?

Who knows right?

Did anyone grab a pre-order?

My Corsair PSU arrived with black cables, which is OK with me, but they are quite stiff and where the plugs terminate (at the motherboard end) they are really hard to bend for routing. I had to bend them before I plugged them in, otherwise there would have been too much strain. Your white cables look super soft and easy to bend.

Thinking about it, you've used those white cables before - what brand are they?

Once you get that case and can finish, it will be magnificent! It seems like you won't be cutting any corners on the build, hope it goes well. Bruce seems to have vanished at the moment, hope he comes back soon 🙂

I'm leaning towards trying to find something the size of the old CaseLabs SMA8-A Chassis,.. I like the Corsair 7000X also,.. very nice. I just don't know yet, haven't had the time to do the proper research before ordering,.. don't want to screw-up twice,.. lol

SMA8-A Chassis: 97493

Yes, I like that. Has a clean industrial look. Looks like it means business...

Grabbed this LG 32in 4K IPS monitor on sale from Amazon $399.

https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-32up83a-w-4k-uhd-led-monitor

My 1st 4K monitor and love it. Been watching it's price for 3months did not want to buy from a 3rd party seller since they are most likely - returned monitors resold as new - so I got ships and sold by Amazon straight from factory LG for $399. Awesome upgrade why did I wait so long? Text is smooth and no visible pixels, the monitor is all black on the front and a full white back with white independent power supply and white power cables, so really rocks with my black and white build. 🙂

I'm not using the LG stand, don't like monitor stands I like the monitor to hover in space with a selection of keyboards lying beneath. Been using a SpaceCo/Adapt Space Arm for 6years, got this one below in black. Had to adjust the pneumatics/hydraulics of the arm to adapt to slightly increased weight of the new 4k monitor from my older 2.5k, now it's working perfectly.

Oh yea, and both systems connected Z590 and Z790 seem to boot slightly faster, but then it could be psychological since every time I grab a new component my boot times decrease lol, just kidding. 😛

You're back? That's cool. Oh yeah, you really do need 4K monitors. I've got two and I couldn't live without them. They really are a must have and yes, they do improve boot times. I can boot in 45s but without my monitors, I bet my boot times would at least 90s 🙂

I'm not back - it's really only a figment of your imagination mate. (heavy British accent) lol

Gskill 7600 kit is now $304 at Newegg lowest price since launching October 20th. Gskill 7800 kit $339, also it's lowest price since launch.

We all know what this means - Gskill 8000 kit will return to availability very shortly along with the Z790 Apex and a new bios for the Apex that makes the 8000 kit XMP stable right out of the box and 8200 a simple "point and click" overclock. 😄
