Newegg listing November 2nd and 3rd:

96062

Newegg listing November 4th, today:

96063

Did Newegg sell out their known incoming quantity of boards as Pre-Orders in 48hours? OR did they simply change the purchasing status?

Who knows right?

Did anyone grab a pre-order?

The test that I just performed where it failed, that was the same profile that I thought was stable.

I'm going to try to use your settings. I'll report back soon.

Good Luck Mate! The Hardware Gods are with you! (thumbs up emoticon) 🙂

If you cannot get the profile stable again, reset your bios using Load Optimized Defaults, Save out of bios, reset your Apex turn off the PSU wait for all pwr lighting on the motherboard to go out. Restart PSU and back into bios and redo your settings from XMP 1 and 7800 and beyond.

The hardware gods were not with me.

It failed instantly.

I have XMP1 enabled and copied your settings exactly.

What's the next move?

Make sure you clear Windows of any junk collected from the blue screens, go back and add Load Optimized Defaults in bios, effectively resetting your bios, save out of bios, boot into Windows. When booting windows you might get a screen saying Windows needs to restart or reboot, that's just Windows cleaning itself after the blue screen. Click yes restart my computer and when Windows finally boots, I always go into Windows Tools > Free Up Windows Disc Space, click Clean up system files, let it run to completion, then back into your bios.

Start with simply XMP 1 disable MCE and save out of bios.

If you saved your stable 8000 CL34 you can load it from USB AFTER you've reset bios. Otherwise if you didn't, in Extreme Tweaker select XMP 1 and save out of bios and get your XMP 7800 stable.

Here is where I am at now.

I tried your settings and they did not work. I went back to my settings I had earlier because I feel I was closer with them than yours.

In addition to the settings that I mentioned before...
SA = 1.3
IMC = 1.45
VDDQTX = 1.4

This seems to be stable. I have got to go do my taxes and get groceries. While I am away, I am going to have it run Karhu and see if it passes.

I would like to hit 8000mhz with slightly tighter timings. Assuming this passes, suggestions where to go from here?

You did amazing today, take a couple days off man, it's all there for you, you bought all the right gear. 😛

You can easily get back your stable 8000 CL36 or CL34.

Depending on your 13700K's IMC you should/might grab 8200 CL36 as a stable daily. Then a nice OC on your CPU. Sir Braegnok can give you a short list of Raptor Lake CPU steps for overclocking, I'm certain he can. But he's very busy right now with a new Apex like yourself and the GAME tomorrow. Relax take a few days off, I only hope you did really FEEL that amazing speed with 8000 CL34 1.5volts while you had it.

Next time - save your stable profile to USB. Otherwise it's start from the very beginning at square one, when things go wrong, and that's no fun. 😞
