Newegg listing November 4th, today:

Did Newegg sell out their known incoming quantity of boards as Pre-Orders in 48hours? OR did they simply change the purchasing status?

Who knows right?

Did anyone grab a pre-order?

Awsome...Guys. Waiting for my Z790 APEX from Newegg, Did a Pre-Order. So hope It ships after Nov 30th....:D

Using;
Intel i7-13700KF
T-Force Delta DDR5 32GB 7200 FF3D523G7200HC34ADC01 Memory. Maybe can do 7400 to 7600 without to much trouble.
I'm just tried of buying parts for the last few year's without much success in a moderate overclock.... No matter how much I've read on the these forums.

Welcome ROG brother! 🙂

Been having an amazing experience with a Z590 Apex - 11600K i5 every core OC's to 5.5Ghz and pushes Samsung B-die 4800/17 DDR4 mem kit to 5066 17 17 17 34, Hynix DJR DDR4 5333/22 kit to 5600/20 and 5866/21 as a daily OC - so very happy with the Apex boards.

Moving to Z790 Apex trying to improve once again my daily work OC, super-excited new bios for the Apex seem to be arriving every 48hours so hopefully my 7600 mem kit can grab 7600 XMP 1 and 7800. Not so certain my 13600K will be able to push to 8000, but that's ok, planning a 13900KS and Gskill 8000 mem kit for January February of next year, should be capable of 8000 and 8200.

Cannot imagine what it will FEEL like moving from 5866MT/s to 7866MT/s a whopping 2000MT/s wowie!

We should all be receiving our Z790 Apex boards December 1st 2nd and 3rd - gonna be exciting.

------

Yesterday we had a hurricane move through our area, today we have glorious sunshine in the office, what a change. 🙂

Those MDPC-X XXX-white cables are SO BRIGHT! Gotta wear shades.

Can you imagine what a white Apex board will look like in this setup below? OMG! White cables White Bitspower fittings, oh my.

Been using PC keyboards for nearly 30 years and I still have to look at the keys when I type. I would have NO CHANCE on that blank keyboard lol

Only advantage to a blank keyboard I can think of is if coding for a living or writing for a living - long hours at the keyboard. Everyday computing and gaming, no advantage at all, unless you simply like the aesthetic, lol. 😄

The learning curve is steep for a blank board. Very slow at first, then over time much faster than using a printed/labeled keyboard. An additional bonus to a blank board is you can switch layouts "on the fly" from QWERTY to DVORAK which in theory adds even more speed, but then DVORAK is another learning curve in and of itself. lol 🙂

Albert says the new blank keyboard will enhance my mental focus and improve my cognizant reasoning along with opening that neural duct to my subconscious creativity.

"Well that's good Albert cuz I need that." 😛

How cool is this? Love it. Just stumbled upon it on Amazon. Not buying it, just thought it looked great.

It does look very cool John, yet I believe hours of typing on that thing would lead to serious carpal tunnel. lol 😮

Lots of keyboards made for show these days, the market must be HUGE.

Always look at those amazing show build computers, so fancy and expensive, then I tell myself, my PC is faster, quieter, runs colder, and costs less.

I'm just posting this for iBruceypoo - he hasn't been able to post anything lately, but he wanted you to know about another method of overclocking he found on his 790 Apex with 13900KS.

"13900KS tweaking - 6.2Ghz TVB boost for ALL 8Pcores and how to set it up in your Z790 Apex bios. 🙂 "

Just follow the images...

By the way, I've also tried it on my 690 Hero with a 12900K and it seems to work very well on my machine as well.

My stuff is waiting too...

I missed TWICE the Z790 Master so far. So maybe the Gods want to feel the pain again and squeeze my brains with the new Apex =))
I'm still using the Z490 one, since Z590 & 10th was quite a fail and the Z690 was a s/show indeed.
In Europe the Asus prices are quite insane to quote Roman (by the way, in its video is shown the not-retail one, called "converge").
But I'm probably ending to try again the Apex =)) Why?

Also curious about that counter - what does it do? =))
So let's see how this Z790 plays out =))

Those "Hardware Gods" can be rough on us brother, you don't want to ever hear about my EVGA Z390 Dark travesty experience, oh my goodness - the pain! 😞

The new bios's seem to be fixing the Z790 Hero and Extreme and Strix E and Strix F memory issues, so there's that. 🙂

Maybe wait until a few of us get our Z790 Apex boards and see how we do. Then decide if you want one for yourself!
