Z690 Hero Wi-Fi Drivers - Anybody Else Confused?

The support pages now offer "Intel WiFi Driver V22.100.0.3 For Windows 10/11 64-bit." but these drivers appear to be older than the last ones, which from memory were 22.170.0.3.

I also have Intel Driver and Support Assistant installed, and that says that my current drivers (22.190.0.4) are bang up to date.

Am I missing something, or is this a Support Page error?

The Z690 Hero WiFi driver on the support page is from Jan 2022, when 22.100 was new-ish. They don't seem to update the WiFi drivers on support that often, not sure if that's because they list a more "stable" version, or they just don't keep up with Intel releases. Personally, I just use the Intel Driver & Support Assistant for those. There's sometimes a newer revision on the forums a little ahead of it, but I don't get obsessive about that if the latest from the Intel tool is working.

Thanks, yeah, just weird because 22.170.0.3 was listed on the support pages just a few days ago. My money is on the suspicion they have added old drivers by mistake.

Intel has been jumping around quite a bit lately. But keep in mind newer drivers may not even affect an older card and most continue to work. If you are having some type of problem with your Wi-Fi then look for different drivers.

I am running the 22.45.x.x version on one of my systems so I can get Wi-Fi 6e on my Windows 10 system. No problems have been noticed.
