Z690 Hero - I'm desperate -

This motherboard simply doesn't work in Gen.5 mode with an RTX 5090 ... Black screen, no possibility to continue.
Gen.4 mode works. Gen.5 mode is unusable.

When Asus will release a fix? Not even a word on recognizing the problem. This is disheartening ...
Is there someone on the Planet Earth having success using this motherboard with an RTX 5090 card in Gen.5 mode?

Hello darkcg

Have you tried the latest Nvidia driver  576.02? - GeForce Game Ready Driver 576.02 | Windows 11 | NVIDIA

There are quite a few bug fixes, go to 3.1 and 3.1.2 - NVIDIA Release Notes Win10

Hello Nate, thanks for the answer.
Yes, I'm on the latest 576.02 driver and the latest BIOS. The card is the Zotac RTX 5090 AMP Extreme Infinity.
No luck, black screen on Gen.5

As far as I can tell it should work. Do you have anything else plugged into the other slots?

Z690 Hero, 12900K, BIOS 4001, MEI 2433.6.3.0, ME Firmware 16.1.35.2557, 7000X Case, RM1000x PSU, ASUS TUF OC 3090TI, 2 x 16GB Corsair RAM @ 5200MHz, Windows 11 Pro 23H2, Corsair H150i Elite AIO, 4x Corsair RGB fans, 3x M.2 NVME drives, 2x SATA SSDs, 2x SATA HDs.

Yes it should but it isn't. I haven't plugged anything else in other slots.
