Z690 Hero BIOS flashback without CPU = What cables to plug in?

So i'm waiting my Z690 Hero coming to me, already have 14900K waiting for it.

I have browsed through the Z690 Hero's manual but didn't manage to find (or i'm blind) what cables should you plug in when you update BIOS and no CPU is installed?

Only 24pin ATX or 8-pin CPU to socket (which one)?
Just to be safe = Will it cause any damage if no CPU is installed and i plug in both 8 pin connectors + 24 pin?

You will certainly have to plug in the 24 pin. I don't know if the CPU power connectors are required for the update, I doubt it. If you want to play it safe and are feeling cautious, then just plug in the 24 pin and give it a try, but I very much doubt that having the other power leads plugged in will do any harm. Just my opinion, I don't know the official answer.
