I'm struggeling for 5 hours now to make m2_1 slot Gen4 Firecuda 530 to be recognized. I even added PCI 4x Optane 900P card. And both are not recognized. I tried enable/disable VMD, CMS. I can only see SATA drive. Both drivers where installed before with Windows 11. Something with TPM?

I also flashed it to 2004 with same issue. Im 40 years old and have ALOT of experience. But this is next level.

Did someone else had same issue after update?

Worked like a charm!! All of my M.2's are working perfectly.

Had to figure out to install the ME driver (because it's not called a ME driver), but then after that, I installed the updater, and then the firmware, and all is good!!

My New Apex system is up and running VERY strong and stable so far, VERY fast!! Running everything at stock voltage and an XMP 1 Profile for my ram, and it is so much faster than my last PC I can hardly believe it!! Been waiting a YEAR to set this system up!!

thanks man!! I owe ya one!!

Hi J Black, you mentioned that the ME driver is not called that. What is it called?

I've been trying for hours to find it. Been on the Asus & Intel websites. The ME driver on Intel site says its for 6th gen to 12th gen. What about 13th gen?

I have a 13900k on a Z690 Maximus Hero board.

What's your Cinebench R23 multicore score?

Seems like this issue with no m2 drive and lower perf is showing up.

Now I can't remember, but it's one of these 3 for my Apex:
