XMP Issues! ASUS Z790 Apex Encore | i9-14900KS | Corsair Dominator Titanium 8000mhz 2X24

So I am having issues enabling XMP and getting it stable beyond 6000mhz. I have been fighting this for months now. I have been through 2 apex boards, 4 different sets of ram from the QVL list, 2 i9-14900k's and now a i9-14900KS. I've tried everything I have been able to find on the forums with no luck. I've tried XMP 1 and XMP 2 and no difference. I have updated to the most recent Bios of 1503 as well. I researched the board before I started the build and this was the way to go for 8000mhz, but I cant seem to get it to work. I would be happy at this point to get to 7600mhz, but I cant get anywhere near that. I can pass memtest86 at 7600mhz but fail kahru in seconds. Usually by 7%

SP = 106
MC = 87

Hi @KaoticKarma

That's certainly some rough luck. Can you confirm whether you're using a contact frame?

I can send you over a couple of my profiles to try when I'm at my machine later, but keep in mind each CPU is different.

No contact frame. I was using one and swapped it back out for the stock ILM.

Yes I would love to try anything, Thank You

You can try these and tune accordingly.

i dont know how to read these. Not familiar with .cmo files

Figured it out. Testing now

8200 loads windows, BSOD at 3% of Kahru test. 8400 and 8600 dont load at all just sends me back to bios.

I dont know. Im just beyond frustrated at this point. I just spent another $800 upgrading to the 14900KS from the 14900K when it had an SP of 105 and MC of 83. I didnt think that was the problem, but everyone telling me it was. I have now spend right at $12,000 building this PC and still doesnt work right. Im just lost at this point. Never experienced issues like these.

It's always a lottery with overclocking. > 8000MT is no joke, although the Encore is more than capable of it. What have you tried in terms of tuning manually?

This article is for older 16GB SK Hynix A die, but the key voltages remain the same.
