Hello All,
I've completed a new build within the last couple of days but I've been struggling to install windows on my pc as it keeps freezing when it gets to the UI setup page.
Build:
I9-14900K
ROG strix z790-E Gamming wifi II
4x32 Trident DDR5-6000MHZ
7900xtx
I have optimized my ram to default speed at 4800MHZ. I have also updated the bios as well
I've gotten motherboard error codes of 35 33 41 and some others relating to RAM or windows not being able to determine the resources needed for the device. I've tried doing 64GB of ram but get the same issue. The PC works and boots properly but the main culprit is not being able to install windows successfully without it freezing. The closest ive gotten to installing it was 85% in the UI before it frozen again. Any Ideas whats going on?

So I tried this and windows is alot smoother thus far. But this isnt good since with my research i do alot of black hole simulations which requires alot of ram do you think the ram is faulty?

Sorry accidentally accepted the solution. I wish! also when i installed my amd drivers and error occurred related to windows. And this happened about 3 times. Also there was an intel chip set driver from windows update that error ed and could not be installed

Dude I have the same board and the exact same experience. WTF is going on with these boards?
I have days to return it to Amazon, now I think I know why I got a deep discount on this board.

What is your set up? After getting two motherboards im not sure if its the motherboard tat this point maybe the processor or ram? The mother board is pretty beefy and has good reviews

It does look good and has good feaures.
I have a 13700kf, Corsaid Dominator Platnium sticks @ 7200 Mt/s they are rated at 8000 48 GB.
My system is water cooled full loop for CPU and GPU.
I think it's the sticks, I have another set I can test with that I know work 100%

Try another set and let me know if you come up with anything im currently running a mem test on one stick then i will do a kit.

You can run a memory test to be sure it's ok.
Windows installing smoothly with one stick sounds very good, we may be onto something with the memory.

ok I will run a memory test on one kit to see whats up
