Hello All,
I've completed a new build within the last couple of days but I've been struggling to install windows on my pc as it keeps freezing when it gets to the UI setup page.
Build:
I9-14900K
ROG strix z790-E Gamming wifi II
4x32 Trident DDR5-6000MHZ
7900xtx
I have optimized my ram to default speed at 4800MHZ. I have also updated the bios as well
I've gotten motherboard error codes of 35 33 41 and some others relating to RAM or windows not being able to determine the resources needed for the device. I've tried doing 64GB of ram but get the same issue. The PC works and boots properly but the main culprit is not being able to install windows successfully without it freezing. The closest ive gotten to installing it was 85% in the UI before it frozen again. Any Ideas whats going on?

January 21st - Been having similar issues when Windows 11 forced the last update my system X570-e Strix, Ryzen 9 5900x, and EVGA 3080 hybrid constantly being frozen. Haven't found a fix except to go back to windows 10 until Microsoft finds and fixes these issues.

Even with Win 10 I'm having the issue too. Not sure what the problem is. Waiting for my case with ASUS ROG to evaluated. ROG confirmed my components are compatible but yet get frequent 35 error code related to memory and other codes related to windows not being able to determine the needed resources needed. I wonder if my ram or processor is faulty but after getting the same MOBO twice there's a bigger problem here. ROG said they would duplicate each component to figure out the issue of what is going on.

Hello AstroDarien
While your memory might be compatible, it looks like your combining two identical memory kits, this is most likely the issue even at default of 4800MHz.
I'll suggest to turn off your pc and unplug the power supply cable. Match up your memory kits and use one memory kit in slots A2-B2 (2nd & 4th slots from the cpu).
Press and hold the clear cmos button for 3 seconds, then boot up your pc.
How does she run now?

This i haven't tried yet actually dose it matter which kit is which? The are the exact same product number. Initially used all 128GB RAM in each slot but still got the same problem. Also this is ram i am using
ps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BJ7X9P1W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 the ram is 1.4V is it too much or this is fine?

It shouldn't matter which memory kit you use, but you'll want to make sure the kits are matched up. If the kits aren't matched, this will present problems as well.
The serial numbers may give a clue to match them up.

So here's and update on what I did so far.
I did easily find the matching memory kits by looking at the SN. I tried one set and it seemed to have problems when doing windows installation still freezing once going into the UI setup after installation. Tried the second kit but forgot to CMOS the bios again. Initially i error code 44 but i realized one of the memory slots wasn't in fully. Tried again. Weird enough after win 11 reinstalled it was pretty smooth up until some steps in the setup process it froze with error codes 34 35 and 40
Then it said that my system dosent meet the requirements for WIN 11 ironic of a beast of pc this is. Im currently installing a new windows media on to my USB

Update part2
after creating a fresh windows 11 media tool and after it installing smoothly then entering win 11 setup interface it freezes immediately. With new error codes of 31 and 32. One relating to memory the other relating to device not working properly. Is the ram faulty? Is the processor faulty? I'm not sure if is a motherboard problem after having a replacement motherboard of the same type. My 7900xtx is from previous build but is the most recent GPU on the market right now.

Ok, the error codes look like your cpu temperature. With the Q-Led set to Auto, it will show your cpu temps.
You can change the Q-Led to "post code only", then whatever the code stops on is the code to investigate.
To change the Q-Led to "post code only", enter the bios, Advanced tab, Onboard Devices Configuration.
You made a little progress, but it still shouldn't be freezing.
Do you have enough power for your 7900xtx, and are the 2x8-pin pcie cables connected properly? AMD recommends a minimum of an 800w psu.
That is a good idea to redownload windows, this could be the easy fix.
I'm not sure why you'd get a message that you don't meet the requirements for windows 11, you should be windows 11 ready. The only thing I can think of is PTT may not be enabled. This needs to be enabled to support windows 11.
In the bios, Advanced tab, PCH-FW Configuration.

the PSU is 1200w as i want to get thr RTX 5090 in the future. When i installed windows to 10 in the past on the system ( still unstable) i was able to install core temp and all my cores were below 40C like 35 34 C. Let me try these troubleshoots and see whats going one
