Will Asus release BIOS or standalone update for Intel ME firmware v16.1.38.2676?

I see MSI released this update 5 weeks ago for their z790 boards.
Could Asus update Intel ME firmware to version 16.1.38.2676  as well?

You can get v16.1.38.2676 from MoKiChU in the 'downloads for motherboards' section

Nah, firmware needs to be from Asus, and not random download from internet. OEMs might have their specific settings in ME Firmware, and you can't downgrade (or flash back) it on motherboard.

John mention where, and we have that available since  07/08/2025 

NOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Make sure you use the MEI 2517.8.1.0 also.

As I said it's not from Asus.

MoKiChU is not an Asus employee, he is not affiliated with Asus in any way, just a driver BIOS modder.

You have no understanding of low level firmware, then please don't post your worthless advises, someone might actually follow it and put their PC in trouble.

Oh i do!  links are safe to use and help a lot. but up to you.

I delete most of it since is pointless.

If you need asus direct interaction with drivers, firmware and bios on their products and they are not in the asus product website, please contact  the support website   at  https://www.asus.com/support/  especially on legacy products. cheers.

Wesley - if you don't want good advice, that's OK, but then please don't ask people to help you. Simples. Good luck waiting for Asus to release the (identical) ME firmware that you want, which, incidentally comes directly from Intel.
