Hello everyone, i would like to explain my pain that, i started my desktop today and nothing happened. Though i was dumb i pushed several time and nothing happen.
I have tried all things i know to check all component and stuff of the pc.
I bought literally the config less than a year ago : B760 Stryx blabla wifi v2, intel cpu, gygabytes gpu (rtx 4060), 2x16 kingston fury, + M2
since september 2023 everything worked perfectly, 0 lag, crash anything. Literraly it was on 6h before night, and at morning what happened ?
0 risks with this pc, no burst, no dust, no humidity, no animals, nothing that could interact during night.
All component are normal, all cables, all pins, but only motherboard is saying nothing : the useless rgb is on on MB and that all. No technical leds that put red or smt else, no bip even with buzzer on pc, no light, no fan, no noise, no movement. NOTHING.
So now i've worked for years to make some money and make my dream pc that i never had before. I see on internet that some similar config on B760 have exactly same issue.
The fact is that less than 1year after, no warranty, no help from amazon, no help from asus. I see all the merch putted in the box of MB as it is 'premium gaming elite' ? elite ? with such respect i doubt.
Now i don't know if its better to just buy another MB from someone else constructor and forget about all products i bought in past and that i was going to buy.. digusted atm from asus 'premium' fiability. and especially with 0 tech info, 0 light, nothing. Silence only
If someone have same issues or knows something about all this 7xx MB that are full of useless stuff and have a fiability of a windows phone.

Sounds like there is not enough power coming from the PSU, so maybe it's faulty. Could be the motherboard, but I'd check the PSU first - I think that's most likely the problem, even if it is powering the RGB lights. You can buy PSU testers on Amazon for not much if you don't have another PSU to swap. Also try turning off the PSU completely and leave for a few minutes before turning it back on.
One other thought, it could even be that the power switch on your front panel is no longer working. Remove the power switch connection plug on the motherboard and try shorting those pins directly. When my PSU is off, it will still power the RGB display, so worth a try.

i tried all basics swap, bought new button, touched pins with tool to boot without button, and launch with another alimentation, same reaction, MB is already in a box and go out to seller, no more asus now ! msi made work from 5 year rog stryx holded -1 year
We can close subjet

Experience the same issue on my b760-i, i updated to the latest bios 1663. Was able to use for a couple of days then it just died. When i turn it on only the rgb lits up, no power from case and cpu fans, no debug light. I even purchase a new psu as i suspected it was a psu related issue but yielded same results. I dropped it off to the shop where i purchase it and will update me if RMA will be approved by asus.

Another case of the same problem, and ASUS says nothing on it, they sell alot of %B with fiability of a italian car in 80s. Please Asus be aware of all these fabrication default. You're like modern cars : alot of useless eletronics ****** that result to death of main product.

Seems like a bit of a rant...Lost count of the number of ASUS boards I've had over the years, will be nearing three digits. Only one failed.
1. If it's within a year why are you claiming there's no warranty?
2. These things can be the result of a power surge. Without analysis you're just showing frustration without knowing the root cause.

No need to ask for ridiculous things, warranty was out 1 month after, or never had been active. Even product is registrered. I dont care about asus anymore msi did and will do the work better in all others setups in future. Asus in 2024 is fancy RGB ridiculous stuff with useless add-on an feature instead of fiability. 'Premium experience' just run out
