Just updated my BIOS from version 0811 to 3701.
Now I am going to reformat and install Windows 10 again.
Trying to download driver for my ASUS ROG STRIX Z690F motherboard and the website is just so confusing on which to download and install.
Also since I did the BIOS 3701 update do I need to install the Intel ME drivers? Which version should I install?
Which drivers below do I need to install aswell:
CHIPSET DRIVERS (which to install and in what order):
- Intel DTT
- Intel ME
- Intel ME Consumer
- Intel Chipset Driver
- Intel Management Engine Interface
- Intel GNA
- Intel SIO Driver
- Intel GNA Scoring Accelerator Driver
AUDIO DRIVERS (which to install and in what order):
- Realtek USB Audio Driver
- Realtek Audio Driver
FIRMWARE (do I need to install any of these since these releases hasn’t been updated for about a year or more):
- Audio ALC4080 FW Update Tool
- PD FW Check Tool
- PD FW Update Tool
- ALC4080 Audio FW Update Tool Release
- USB PD Controller FW Update
INTEL ME UPDATE TOOL: (do I need to install this why is it from 2023 it seems like outdated?)
- Intel Me Update Tool

If you have updated the BIOS, then the ME firmware should also be up to date (you can check the version on the main BIOS screen). Next, you can install as follows:
- Intel Chipset Driver
- Intel SIO Driver
- Intel Management Engine Interface (also known as Windows MEI or consumer firmware drivers)
- Ethernet drivers
- Intel GNA (optional)
- Intel DTT (optional)
- Intel GNA Scoring Accelerator Driver (optional)
- Realtek USB audio drivers (optional, since Windows drivers will cover the basics)
You can also update the firmware that you listed:
- Audio ALC4080 FW Update Tool
- PD FW Check Tool
- PD FW Update Tool
- ALC4080 Audio FW Update Tool Release
- USB PD Controller FW Update
Ignore the Intel ME update tool, the ME firmware comes with the BIOS nowadays, like I said above.
You can also get more recent drivers for everything from MoKiChU's threads in 'motherboard downloads' in this forum, but the support page drivers should get you up and running.
