What am I downloading for Z790 Hero Ethernet disconnection, Intel I226-V drivers?

Ethernet keeps disconnecting with the I226-V and after searching around and trying other things, I went to update the drivers, but the numbering and order makes no sense.

You can use driver 2.1.3.3 from March 21, 2023 or NIS 1.1.4.38 from November 6, 2023.

I use the driver from March 21, 2023 and have no problems.

both are the same and fix the problem with the disconnects.

Intel Core i7 13700K / AiO Fractal Design Lumen S36 v2 RGB / Asus Rog Strix Z790-F Gaming WIFI / Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR5-5600 64GB (4x 16GB) / Asus TUF RTX 4070 ti OC / 4x Samsung 980 pro 1TB / Seasonic Prime GX 850 W Gold / Fractal Design Meshify 2 Lite RGB Black TG Light Tint / Monitor AOC Q27G2S/EU (WQHD)

This is why I am confused. The driver I currently have installed is from June 2023. If the problem was fixed in the March 2023 driver, then why is it not working with the June drivers?

V 2.1.3.3 = Win 11

V 1.1.4.38 = Win 10

You can also get the latest drivers from MoKiChU's thread here:

Hello again. I'm still struggling with disconnect issues. Do we have a working driver for the I226-V? I've now also download v2.1.4.2 and it's still disconnecting.

I don't know the settings people have tried offhand, but I believe there are settings in Device Manager/Power Management that might well help. If you search these forums, I think you'll find some recommendations.

Hope that points you in the right direction... I don't use ethernet, so never had to do any of that myself.

Update: I've installed 1.14.38 from February 09, 2023(In the driver details) but 2023/11/06 on the driver download page, and so far so good it seems. Thanks everyone.
