I have a PC using the Z690-G Gaming Wifi board and currently am considering upgrading my GPU to a 4090. However I have read about the stability issues with that card on some boards that haven't gotten an updated bios. I am currently using the most up to date bios (2305) will that one support the 4090 without the freezing/black screen issues? Or would I still need to do the workaround to set the power management to "prefer maximum performance" and waste a ton of energy?
