Use q release button and Compatibility with Gigabyte video cards

Hello, I have a couple of questions about the rog strix z790 h gaming wifi motherboard, how to use q release, do I need to press the button when installing the video card or without pressing it, and how do 4000 series video cards from gigabyte work on this motherboard?

The latch locks in place when simply installing the GPU, you only need to press the Q-release button to remove the card.
