So im running an I7-14700kf on windows 11, and roughly 2 weeks ago had some time to update my bios for the latest microcode as I was randomly bluescreening during discord calls/games. Since I've updated my microcode I no longer have the blue screens, but now I'm running into network stability issues. For example, I've been trying to play baldurs gate 3 with my friends to finish up the story, and randomly out of no where, I still start to see my friends playing notifications pop up, and then both discord, and the game crash out due to internet loss (note, I did not experience this before the update just the blue screens). I have checked the drivers section to make sure my driver is update. I am running ethernet, and I uninstalled my ethernet driver just incase, and then ran the LAN driver software as a sort of fresh install. Im not sure whats going on, but its starting to get on my nerves, as I can sit here on my PC and browse the web, watch youtube videos just fine, but as soon as I play game its over.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to narrow down the cause with your information.
It would have been helpful to know WHAT was in the blue screens.
The BIOS update itself actually has nothing to do with it, as it only updated the microcode for the CPU and probably also the firmware for Intel ME.
If the message about internet loss appears, is the internet actually gone or can you still access the internet with a browser?
If you can access the internet despite the message, it is due to Discord and/or the respective game or the servers provided via the multiplayer etc. Unfortunately, you have no influence on this.
Do your friends have similar errors or is it just you?
It could be a coincidence that something like this coincides with a BIOS update.
As a counter test, you could go back to an earlier BIOS and test whether the errors appear again.
Also check whether there are any unknown devices or yellow exclamation marks in the Windows device manager.
Furthermore, check whether your PC is still connected to the internet despite this error message. You can see this if you look at the status of the network adapter. It shows how long it has been connected.
Check whether the LAN cable is still correctly connected in the router and in the PC (if the PC has been moved).
You shouldn't always let Windows search for drivers, but at least install the drivers on the motherboard manufacturer's website.
Has anything been overclocked, such as the CPU or RAM?
If RAM, then please deactivate XMP and test again.
If there are various error messages in the event log and in the Windows reliability history, please post screenshots.
