Hey guys,
a friend of mind got also the ROG B760-F board with the currently newest bios (1805). He needs my help to switch the cpu from 13400f to 14500. So my question is, if I am switching the cpu, is again "load default" in the bios enough (-> microcode, intel me) or have I do to a clear cmos or re-flash the newest bios again?
Don't want to do something wrong. Thanks for your toughts an help. Best wishes!

You don't need to reflash BIOS or anything else if motherboard has already the latest BIOS.
In fact reflashing BIOS always comes with a risk and if not successful it can brick the motherboard.
All you need to do is swap CPU, recommend to do "clear CMOS" in order to delete all previous settings, just in case. Then load factory defaults with F5, Save and reboot.
After reboot you can tweak it with your settings.
