Stuck at on code 98 after bios update

As so many (I read through most of the C98 threads) I'm stuck at C98 after updating my bios to 4301.

The problem now is the computer boots, monitor comes on but doesn't display anything, goes off again, code shown is 98.

Now I tried everything suggested in the other threads. Using different USB ports, using different mouse an keyboard, reseting CMOS - nothing works. Can't get to bios to see any configuration details.

Then I used the flashback tool to go back to 4101 with same result. It seems I totally bricked my system.

How can I recover from here?

Ok I leave this here for anyone with the same issue.

The problem was that when the computer starts the first time after the bios flash it displays an initial message and prompts you to press F1 to go into bios and adjust settings. With an rtx5090 this isn't sent on the display port. You have to connect the monitor with an HDMI cable to see it.

Just to add, I use Display Port and I do see that F1 message even after a BIOS update, so it probably depends on the monitor, but good to know!
