Strix z690 e gaming wifi ethernet speed

hey guys, i believe this motherboard can handle up to 2.4gbs speeds but im only getting 1. is this something i can check with the ethernet ports on the walls or is it something with the router?

First check your internet provider 😄 did you pay for 2.4 gbps or you pay for less

Hi @nivaar assuming you are on Windows 11, when you go to Settings > Network and Internet > Ethernet what do you see Windows is reporting for your LINK SPEED (Receive/Transmit)? It should be reported as 2500/2500 (Mbps) if you have the correct drivers installed and the LAN port is connected to the 2.5 Gbps port on your router or hub. See below
