So it looks like the built in Wi-Fi on my motherboard has some sort of fault. The manual seems to say there is an M2 card installed so in theory I'm guessing it could be replaced but its underneath a heat sink and I cant immediately see how to get to it without taking it all to bits.
Does anyone know if the Wi-Fi adapter can be replaced and if so how does the heat sink near the IO panel come off?

doubt it can be replaced but its under the heatsink yes, if slotted its easy fix, only way to find out.
you don`t have an E connector for wifi cards on the board. Best bet would be a PCI-e 4 card with ethernet and/or Wifi.
