Skylake.inf downloads when using Asus Setup for chipset driver

this is a driver question i know this is technically not the right place for drivers but i thought someone may have some knowledge or can look into this.

when downloading the latest chipset drivers on asus z790 motherboards (10.1.19600.8418) if you use AsusSetup i see it also downloads a "Skylake-esystem.inf" driver

however THIS DRIVER ACTUALLY DOES NOT INSTALL when using "SetupChipset" installation. only when using AsusSetup.

because intel technically is not downloading this with their installer only asus is. is this a mistake? is this supposed to be there?

Just found this - it's 32 bit and not quite the same version, but it appears to be some sort of fix. If it was really needed, I would have thought that the main driver would have been fixed by now...

Would be interesting to know what it does. I use MoKiChU's drivers which are just the main driver, so I don't have that Skylake driver present. I don't seem to be missing any functionality as far as I'm aware. Think I'd just install the main driver and ignore the Asus setup.
