Hi ROG forum.

I own Strix Z690-F gaming wifi and today I updated the BIOS to the latest for this motherboard.

Due to these CPU degrading what settings in BIOS I need to change, and what values, after the BIOS update, so this CPU won't degrade and work normal?

I'm looking for some good settings too. I hadn't updated bios for over a year, and I have DDR5 ram, finally got it up to 5600 (stupid me put 4x16 gskill trident 7200 in it bc I got em for a deal)... My cpu usage and temps have one up! Sits at 50-60° gets to 70-80 sometimes (Diablo 4 ultra 165hz) even idle bios 1666 stressing my CPU more i think.  I used to get 30° or so, old year or two maybe bios.

My specs: i7-13700k, Asus z790-p wifi, Gigabyte Aorus4080 Super, 4TB pcie m.2 nvme, 64gb (16x4)

nothing. Once the bios is added, be patience on adding the bios. once the AMI screen appears. enter bios as it say on the screen , f5 to load default, f10 to safe, enter bios again and check if all boot is present and nvme ssd and go to windows to check all is ok. THEN enable xmp if needed.

NOTE! and in capital letters.

make sure to check you settings on BOOT section. if is csm disable, secure boot on custom etc, so once you get the new bios update, has to be the same so can enter windows with no issues.   ANY changes aside this is up to you
