Hello community,
I'm facing an extremely frustrating issue with my ROG Strix Z790-F Wifi motherboard and i9 14900K CPU combo. After some time of use, the computer constantly gets blue screens with errors like "KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" and "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED", along with many other error codes.
What I've tried:
My goal:
I want to find a way to use the computer stably until I can upgrade to the Ryzen 9000 series in early October. I don't need maximum performance, just enough for daily work without getting blue screens.
Questions:
I sincerely appreciate any help!
P.S: After this experience, I've decided to never use Intel again.

It could simply be that you have unstable RAM. Have you tried running memory tests? You've probably got MemTest86 available in the BIOS, so that's an easy way to start. If that passes, you could go on to try more aggressive RAM tests. At the very least, you might get an indication of where the problem lies...

Hi @dannguyen029x I am sorry to hear about your troubles.
You mentioned that disabling Turbo Boost stabilizes your system. This is a typical sign of either the CPU getting degraded or the AUTO defaults BIOS is selecting for your board are not working out for you. What Intel Profile are you using like Intel Performance or Intel Extreme?
I also recommend that you spend sometime to watch the following YouTube videos and see if any one of them will help you.
This 1st video is a better way to stop you CPU getting into extreme Turbo Boost yet allow the normal Turbo Boost so as not to loose too much performance.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afN6SaT21cQ
This 2nd video is a way to tweak and tune your BIOS on an ASUS board. I believe all these configurations are available on your board.

This 3rd and last video will explain why selecting a CPU Load Line value is important
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9slwXKUwmnE
From this 3rd video I understood that if your Load Line LEVLE is low (like values less than LEVEL 4) then the load line is trying to undervolt the CPU so be careful adding any additional undervolt as this could cause system stability.
I understand you are having issues with default Intel profile without doing any undervolting so check what CPU Load Line value is selected for your CPU by the board.
Hopefully this information will help you stabilize your system without losing performance on your system. Good luck!
