Interesting issue I've never encountered building a pc and i have built many for myself and well over 1500 for customers.
Any time I install Asus Sonic sound app and Steel Series Sonar app audio is static and performance thru left and right channels - windows only the audio if fine. I'm using a Logitech z580 THX sound system Sub, 4 satellites, Center - No clue and didnt happen with my Strix z590 sound was awesome like a home theater.
