Hello Everyone,

I remember that on my previous motherboard I had a limitation on how many SATA and NVME drivers I can use, such as filling in all the NVME slots would limit the SATA from 6 down to 4, but that was for my previous motherboard, I was wondering if my ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI has such a limitation before the black Fridays come and I know what to get as I currently have:

InterfaceType Model Size
IDE Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2TB 2 TB
IDE ST8000NE001-2M7101 8 TB
SCSI Samsung SSD 990 PRO 2TB 2 TB
IDE Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2TB 2 TB
SCSI Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB 1 TB
IDE WDC WD4002FFWX-68TZ4N0 4 TB

As I would want to purchase more NVME disks at the moment (black friday).

I have looked around and I don't see an official information that the nVME lanes are shared with the SATA (HDD) which means that it should be possible to fill up all the NVME slots and use all the SATA slots, right?

Have you downloaded the motherboard manual? As far as I can remember, you should be able to get the answers that way.
