Hi I recently bought new parts for my new gaming PC build. The graphics card is a new ROG Strix Rtx 4080 OC. When I power the system on I get the d6 error. The monitor is connected and I tried both display and hdmi ports. I'm using the original power cables. I have tried the card in one of the other x16 slots but I still get the d6 error. Tried flashing with the latest bios available in asus website but the bios flash led flash for couple of seconds and turns solid green. I guess it's indicating flash failure because the motherboard probably has the latest bios. I have no onboard graphics and has no way of finding out whether the graphics card is good.
System specs: ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming WiFi II, 14900KF CPU, 16x2 corsair 7200Mhz DDR5, Crusial 2TB gen5 m.2 nvme, ROG Strix RTX4080 OC 16GB, Corsair 1000w PSU, Alienware 38" curved 4K monitor.
I could return the motherboard or the graphics card but I need to find out what is causing the issue. It would take more than 2 weeks to get a replacement graphic card. Anyhelp would be much appreciated.

Update: it turned out to be a loose DP connection on the monitor side. The Alienware monitor has a cable cover that might accidentally loosen the cables. Yesterday I didn't try the hdmi cable but today I thought to give it a try. That's when I realized the problem. So if you are having this issue make sure the cables and connections are good before trying other things.
