This bios is good so far, however I have 7600 ram and a rog strix E gaming WiFi. After the latest intel ME update my ram has been unstable and getting errors. Since 703 it was stable. but I updated bios/ME (800 bios) it’s now been unstable. Which sucks because you can’t downgrade intel ME. Other than that no complaints about the BIOS.

I am very interested in stability of 1904 too. I am on 1801 and before I was on 1303 on my Z790-E, and will only update in a next month or two if feedback will be good enough. 1303 was the best one for me, 1801 seems decent too, but I dont feel any real difference between those two. I have PC in music studio, so stability is a main priority over any OC. Music production, video editing - my main PC usage.

How about BIOS 2001? Anyone tried it? It's still beta, but I believe that it's worth trying - at least I will once I can afford to turn off my PC.

We can read the changelog about 1904 BIOS:
“• Improved system performance.
• Enhanced compatibility with 256GB memory.”
What does it mean “Enhanced compatibility with 256GB memory”? The Z790 motherboards support now a maximum of 256GB RAM memory?

Yes, be sure to inspect the QVL before purchasing any 256GB kits. Ludicrous amounts of memory lol.

Which ASUS Z790 motherboard has 8 DDR5 slots to accept 256GB kits?

64GB DIMMs.
