#ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI II brand new baby.

RoflCopterBehin
Level 7

unfortunately i didn't notice this package slips through the cracks by not having the drivers pre flashed onto the chips before inventory was stocked so i would like some help deciphering the website because i see a few claims and im confused as to which would be most stable because im using 192 gb of 5200MT/s Corsair Vengeance ram and only need stability for my gaming not so much as to overclock. the 13900kf is explicitly supported but i still have to update stuff, the bios looks pretty good, ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI II

for bios i have a usb stick with

Version 1801
12.95 MB 2024/12/06

"1.Enhanced system performance, stability and allowed the C1E power state to be disabled.

Updating this BIOS will simultaneously update the corresponding intel ME to version 16.1.32.2473. Please note after you update this BIOS, the ME version remains the updated one even if you roll back to an older BIOS later.
Before running the USB BIOS Flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (A5459.CAP) using BIOSRenamer."

1st question to get online if i dont make a new windows i still cant download anything. soooooo

Intel LAN Driver V2.1.3.3 for Windows 10/11 64-bit.(WHQL)

Version 2.1.3.3
7.44 MB 2023/10/12
3rd the list this looks like the right file? i saw a forum saying WHQL is more stable.
ORRRRRRR
DO I DOWNLOAD A DIFFERENT FILE?

2nd question, if im repairing windows which chipset do i download and how do i avoid any betas because i am not front line sound i need some stability improvements because my 4090 is not the best brand PNY was having some issues on some old boards.
the chipset to download looks like has to go in the of chipset first and them intel me before installing windows to prevent default drivers from taking over.

Intel Chipset driver V10.1.19600.8418 for Windows10 and Windows 11 21H2 64-bit.(WHQL)

Version 10.1.19600.8418
7.73 MB 2023/10/20
looks correct because this is the first WHQL in the list and its bigger which is good to have data and i just dont know if im doing it right.

Intel ME V2407.6.1.0 (SW 2425.6.26.0) for Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 11 64-bit.

Version 2407.6.1.0
816.2 MB 2024/08/07
and this looks like the only me driver i need to get windows installed and reinstall internet and armory crate or Norton driver utility. because its a big file i just want to check its not a generic file but a better more stable file. is this up to date why are the older ME versions still available is this changed to update when the bios update and i leave the me alone until Armory crate and Norton utility? I'm using a Nvidia 4090 that had a stability issue I'm trying to be as stable as possible to rule out oscillation issue from a power short.
