1. Download file from support site
2.Unzip and use renamer tool to rename file correctly
3. Put file on FAT32 USB pen drive and insert pen drive into the denoted USB port on the motherboard rear IO panel
4. Press USB Flashback button for 3 seconds and wait for flashing to initiate. The light should begin to flash quicker and the process can take 3 to 4 minutes.
5. When USB Flashback light stops flashing, power up the system.

Hi @Josef77,
How are you trying to update? Have you tried both EZ Flash and USBFlashback methods?

Did you unzip the file you downloaded from ASUS into its own folder and run the included "BIOSRenamer.exe"?
The file you should be using to do the BIOS update should be named: "SZ690I.CAP", not "ROG-STRIX-Z690-I-GAMING-WIFI-ASUS-3603.CAP".
