Any body here take a risk and try Bios 1601 for this mobo yet??

Any good, any issues??

As far as I concerned this version bios update just to include intel microcode for upcoming Raptor lake CPU. And I personally dont think it change anything else. Having said that, other website quoting that the new version running smoother but with any elaborate statement of any kind about the definition "smoother"

my 8gb x 4 @ 4000 c15 15 15 35 gear 1 needs +0.020v more vccsa vs 1501 and +0.020v more vssaa on dual rank 16gb x2 @ 4133 cl -15-15-15-35 gear 1 on a 12900 ks and 12900k but on strix z690 D4
13900 ks @ 6.0 GHZ | 5.1 R | 4.5 E | DDR4 32GB @ 4,400 c16 G1 | RTX 4090 | XG27AQN 1440P 27" 360Hz G-Sync ULMB 2

Beside the VSSSA and VSSAA, any significant negative impact on your system?

not that i notice nope , vcore for 5.4 ghz all core and 5.1 ghz ring didnt need more vcore still only needs 1.35 - 1.36 v to pass y cruncher,occt,r23,tm5 absolute just higher vcsaa +0.020v

thanks its 12900 ks sp 104 and 16gb x 2 of g.skill royal ddr4 4000 mhz cl-16-16-16-36 1.40v xmp kit

@ 4133 mhz cl-15-15-15-35 @ 1.55v gear 1 282 trfc geting 70k read / 65.4k write / 73k copy / 42 ns latnecy ( 38.5 ns safe mode )

my 12900 k regular sp 90 .. strix d4 z690 and 8gb x 4 sticks are doing 4000 mhz cl;-15-15-15-35 gear 1 few k less score then aabove but sp 90 needs 5.1 all core / 4.8 ring needs 1.31 v lol

Wow....looking good! I'm certenly the only one with the worst luck with an 12900K with an SP @ 76! :'( my Gskill-DDR5 6000mhz running stable in XMP I without CPU overclock , but my cpu is drawing 1.38v @ 4.9ghz without OC! just standard! , something isn't right , or my specifik CPU just need to draw that much to be stable? 😕
