Hi

I am looking to purchase this motherboard, but I would like to know if the Z690-E BIOs has  an option for “CPU DLVR Bypass Mode Enable or Disable ”.

This is a screenshot of it from a Z690 Hero BIOS. My Rog B690i - also has it and I use to for my 13900K ES2 - its saves me about 20-40w of power depending on load.

Let me know Thanks in advance.

sorry to break it to you but this shouldnt be on 12-14th gen as they do not support DLVR. i dont know what your testing but this really should not be doing anything.

Actually it does ... because I am using a 13900K ES2 cpu, it has DLVR built inside the chip. But there is a bug, therefore I need to manually take over to lower the voltage supplied to the E cores.

If you have this motherboard, please let me know if you have this Option in your Bios, and what version it is. Because like you said... 12-14th gen don't have it, because Intel ultimately removed it. But the ES versions of 13900k does have it.

well DLVR was taken out since it doesnt work correctly.

Not sure how you got pre production samples but i wouldn't use it if they figured to take it out before launch since it was causing problems.

ES CPUs definatly not for everyone but its quite fun actually, alot of features are "unlocked", so you can do alot of things production versions cannot do.  For example you can overclock a K version cpu on a non Z series board, or even overclock non K version cpus.  But sometimes you get a dub and its money down the drain... : (

If you have time , please jump into z690-e bios  and let me know if DLVR is present or not. I really like this motherboard, and I want to use my ES cpu on it.
