ROG STRIX X670E-A Gaming Wifi: Mainboard does not keep RGB settings, it ever falls back to rainbow

Hello.

Windows 11 Pro
Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631 ( "10.0.22621.2506")
ROG STRIX X670E-A Gaming Wifi, recent bios: 2604 (not a beta)
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
XPG RAM 2 x 32 GB DDR5
ROG STRIX RTX 4090 OC White

I already tried several things. I also tried the AURA Sync standalone software to solve the problem but nothing works.

I even deleted the plugins in the C:\Program Files\Corsair\Corsair iCUE5 Software\plugins folder.

If I want set all the RGB in my pc to rainbow - no problem. But if I try to keep other colors - for example red & blue - after shutdown or restart the rog strix logo on the left and the XPG RGB RAM switches back to rainbow until windows is up again.

Only if I switch off RGB for the mainboard completely the mainboards seems to keep it. Unfortunately then I can't switch on the RGB of the RAM with XPG-Prime app anymore.

The XPG RAM is in the compatibility list for the ROG STRIX X670E-A Gaming Wifi - I had a look there before I bought that RAM.

The Asus ROG STRIX RTX 4090 OC White has not that problem - it keeps the RGB settings: that one I set via Armoury Crate or the Aura Sync standalone app.

I additonal use Ubuntu Linux 24.04.1 besides Windows 11 Pro and I would be happy to keep the RGB color settings I set in Windows in Linux too.

The Corsair AIO with RGB fans I have and all the other Corsair RGB fans I have too keep their color settings too - even after a shutdown or a reboot and even in Linux. Same with the Lian Li Strimer cables I have.

All other hardware that I have installed in the pc does not have any problems - only my ROG STRIX X670E-A Gaming Wifi mainboard has that problem and it always pulls the XPG RAM into the rainbow with it and that is really annoying.

So what can I do that the mainboard keeps the RGB settings I set with Armoury Crate or the Aura Sync standalone app?

Another question I have:
Why I can't change the RGB brightness in the Asus apps? It's an important setting.

Thank you.

Additional:
If I switch off Aura via Armoury Crate or Bios, on next pc restart the RAM starts illuminate in rainbow colors again (but not the Rog Strix logo on the left) - even the RAM was off under Windows and is off again after Windows is up and logged in.

And if I start the XPG-Prime software it can't find the RAM to set up its the RGB.

Really frustrating.

I found a solution for RGB for my Linux Tuxedo OS 4, based on Ubuntu 24.04.1 noble with openRGB.

But:
While the RGB animations of the Asus Rog Strix RTX 4090 OC, the Corsair iCUE AIO and fans continue to run after a restart and retain their preset RGB colors, the animations of the XPG RAM stop (at least it retains the preset colors).

The RGB animation of the Rog Strix logo on the left side also stops at first and then switches to rainbow (all colors) when booting up, only to switch to the preset colors after logging into Linux or Windows 11 24H2.

I think this should work better on a motherboard in this price range and Asus has also managed to make it work on the RTX 4090.

Bios: I flashed the latest bios 2704 the day before yesterday and it is still the same issue with the RGB.

Thank you.
