I need to know which Bios has the option to switch to Microcode to 104 for the board in question. Version 1205 is installed and it would help me to know if 1220, 1402 or 1601 offer this option.
@Silent_Scone maybe you can help me, I saw your thread on this topic Microcode Management - Republic of Gamers Forum - 955874 (asus.com)
Thanks in advance if anyone has an answer.

you should be able to switch microcode on any of those BIOS. it should be under tweakers paradise.

Thx for your answer @Vynra , reason for my caution is there are posts from people saying there is no option for newer BIOS and it is possible to flash back but the firmware remains, so that even with existing options the UV does not take effect.
There are also instructions on how to inject the microcode into newer BIOSes.
If it hadn't been for the warning that it couldn't be undone, I would have tried it myself long ago. Unfortunately, there is no information on this in changelogs or anywhere else. I'll see if I can find the posts on the net again. I know there is a lot written that is not true, but I can not proceed without clear information.

Found the posts, but they are all vague. Whether people have swapped the microcode or not, there is always a lack of information to say exactly which BIOS version it was or if the CPU is perhaps not a K version. I will now test the bios version step by step myself. At least with the 1220 I'm pretty sure it will still work.

I will soon post my results. Bear in mind that my CPU is an i5 13600K so at least it is representative for Raptor Lake K models. Also take care of your Windows License to be connected with your Microsoft Account to minimize the chance of problems. Further I will not test any UV performance, just list up if there is a switch to microcode 104 and I was able to set the offset values and if i was able to boot with my last settings (LLC 2 / offset -0.15 / XMP loaded) without issues. I will also test the today released BIOS Ver. 1604.
