ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO- Cpu core/cache current limit?

Dear Experts,

I would like to inquire about the recommended default CPU Core Cache Current Limit for an i7-13700K with multicore enhancement disabled (BIOS Version 1803)

After watching a video by JayzTwoCents (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s43Auv8ub7w), where a 13900K was used and the setting was mentioned as 360A with MCE off, I am surprised to find that my system is set to 500A. Is this normal for default settings?

Thank you!

Intel Specs Are 360A and 253W PL2

Then it is strange why the bios does not automatically set it to 360A when MCE is disabled. Just updated to version 1904. No change.

Thank you!

I will ask ASUS customer service.

Is XMP enabled?

Yes, it is enabled. But it does not make any difference. Perhaps the specs for a 13700K are different than for a 13900K?

If MCE is disabled, run CR20 and inspect the package power draw in HWINFO or XTU.

I do not have any issues there and power draw is within specs. I think I just keep MCE enabled and that's it.

yup, standard default asus settings which should not be automatically turned on be default just like Jay said in his video thats why you turn off MCE or just turn it to manual mode and set it to 350-375A

Do you have a 13700K or 13900K? 500A seems to work for 13700K as well..
