ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO and HardWare monitor

HI

You will find at the end of post a screen capture of hardware monitor.

Here is my configuration

ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO bios 2503 beta with microcode 0129. All settings to default, only DOCP1 for memory.

Intel core i9-14900 KF

CMK32GX5M2D6000Z36 (in fact only one module installed = 16Go)

AIO Corsair H100X ELITE

Graphics RX 5700 8Go

I have start up the computer, browse a little bit internet, write a post to ROG ASUS Forum. No game, no benchmark.

I noticed that the SVID goes up to 1,535, the temperature of the package is at 88°C more that the P-Core (Max) at 83°C it seems very stange!

Some advices?

François

Hi @francoistoen

This behaviour is normal. The VID represents the CPU voltage request. You can see by the max turbo frequency that preferred cores are behaving as expected. Under Intel Defaults, the VID request will depend on the CPU sample (the VID table is factory fused)

After several hours of gameplay (Sniper Elite 4), I don't see any particular issue on my CPU, BIOS 1202:
