Same for the Apex, I will wait and see if anyone reports any issues before updating.

My memory overclocks seemed unstable with this version. However, I can not get bios flash back to work either within the bios or with the usb flashback. Yes, my bios is set to rollback enabled and still it won't work.

So already there are two reports of not being able to roll-back this BIOS. If that is correct, why not mention it on the support page description?

See here: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?130493-Dont-install-bios-2004-at-least-on-the-extreme-and-...

After the mess that 1720 became, I really expected better from this BIOS update. I'll keep an eye on the threads, I would be stunned if roll-back is not possible and this is not mentioned in the description.
Z690 Hero, BIOS 3401, MEI 2345.5.3.0, ME Firmware 16.1.30.2361, 7000X Case, RM1000x PSU, i9 12900K, ASUS TUF OC 3090TI, 2 x 16GB Corsair RAM @ 5200MHz, Windows 11 Pro 23H2, Corsair H150i Elite AIO, 4x Corsair RGB fans, 3x M.2 NVME drives, 2x SATA SSDs, 2x SATA HDs.

Did you read that post? Must be drunk. I've started a new thread for this here

Did you manually set your ram frequency to the match the RAM XMP. Most of the time apart setting to XMP mode, I will manually set the RAM frequency according to the RAM XMP spec.

nope, just change to xmp 1 and leave the rest auto
bios 1701 working well with my pc
wanna to downgrade but it cant now
now i xmp 1 and lower the speed into 5600
seems good now

Funny enough, this Bios 2004 actually made my cpu temp better (i9-12900k). Hwinfo and running Cinebench23 multi core test max core temp is 95c after 10mins of test. Bios 1704 was hitting 100c not even a minute after running the test. Did anyone tried undervolting with this new Bios and does it work?

EDIT: Tried undervolting and it would seem that any values that I put into SVID core and Cache voltage will lead to either bsod or windows repair.
