Ladies and Gentlemen,
Can someone point me in the right direction. I updated to the latest BIOS of 4101 released 01/14 and now, when I boot my PC it gives me a keyboard not detected, and the mouse doesnt work. I cannot enter bios. I have looked through the settings, but I cannot see or identify what may have changed.
Keyboard is a Corsair K100 RGB - USB
Mouse is an Corsair M65 RGB Elite - USB
The keyboard and mouse do work when windows loads, just not on initial start up.

Make sure your IME, both firmware and windows drivers are updated. I've seen this twice this week updating motherboards. One motherboard doesn't handle type-c connections anymore.

this might sound stupid but have you tried moving which usb ports they are plugged into?

It's not stupid and I have. They worked prior to the latest bios update, then when it rebooted, it would state no keyboard detected, but nothing had changed but the bios update. I have checked all the power savings options and windows for the USB, checked the bios. I am sure ASUS has done something to the powerstates, or intel has. I can connect a standard USB keyboard up and I can enter the bios and it works every time. Ive tried multiple ports, connections and etc. Ive updated the bios many times as they have come out and never had this issue, just with this bios.
