i will use this as a collection of test bioses/tools/info targeted towards Raptorlake + z69/790

NOTE for Z690: You must update ME on your Z690 to properly support raptorlake (if you are on dual bioses then you need to do this to both bioses)

1) d/l and install ME driver
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/03CHIPSET/DRV_MEI_Intel_Cons_ADL_TP_W11_64_V2229320_20220809B....

2) update ME with ME Update Tool (I know there are newer versions but its not up on Asus official site yet so >= this version is fine)
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/03CHIPSET/MEUpdateTool_16.1.25.1885_T.zip

3) update to Latest BIOS of your choice

Note 2 for Z690: i have some Z690s that are already LOW in battery so you are advised to use a new Battery during this upgrade.

What’s the problem with using an apostrophe with this website? I don’t get it.

Thank you my friend !

First test with the Beta Bios 2201 I can say that it promises.
I'm testing various scenarios and it seems pretty smooth.

I got the same issue with my z690 formula even after following all the steps listed its still not working

My second m.2 just won't work

Motherboard: Z690 Maximus Formula
CPU: 13900K
M.2_1: NVME GEN 4 2TB
M.2_3: NVME GEN 4 2TB
GPU: 4090

My setup cannot pass 7-Zip Benchmark Test if frequency at 5500MHz or above, it crashed almost instantly. I need to set SVID behaviour to Intel Fail Safe to make it pass. My setup is Z790-I with BIOS 805 obtained from this thread, 13900K, AIO Cooling, Corsair DDR5 5600, TUF RTX3080Ti, Corsair SF750 PSU. How do I optimise the settings?

(Sorry if I posted to a wrong place)Â*

Have almost the same config - z790 hero + 13900k but trident z 6000 RAM and custom water loop (with 3090ti in the same loop). Using 0031 bios (prior to 080x bios) - to stabilize, I'd remove adaptive CPU power, as Silent Scone@ROG recommends - I'd increase VCCSA and IMC voltages as well as both VDD and VDDQ over recommended. It's working stable now, but CPU pretty often reaches 100*C and drops back to 70, then increase to 85-95, staying there for some time and again reaching 100. Don't sure, but temps look veeery unstable (0805 gives me even more temp during undervolting, I didn't try after voltage increasing), but at least I don't see any bluescreens now.

2022 z690 Apex bios 0006
13900k Arctic 420 AIO
v color 7200 A die (no cooling or fan on ram for this testing)

Just some quick testing, this is the best so far for me with these A die. Other bioses it was difficult booting 7200 or lower and wouldnt run y cruncher or Karhu/memest.

0006 boots and is stable with 7200 XMP 1 and also with the "7600 preset timings" settings at 7200.

Also 7400 ran y cruncher with same settings for timings and voltages.

Didnt test with M die yet.
