i will use this as a collection of test bioses/tools/info targeted towards Raptorlake + z69/790

NOTE for Z690: You must update ME on your Z690 to properly support raptorlake (if you are on dual bioses then you need to do this to both bioses)

1) d/l and install ME driver
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/03CHIPSET/DRV_MEI_Intel_Cons_ADL_TP_W11_64_V2229320_20220809B....

2) update ME with ME Update Tool (I know there are newer versions but its not up on Asus official site yet so >= this version is fine)
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/03CHIPSET/MEUpdateTool_16.1.25.1885_T.zip

3) update to Latest BIOS of your choice

Note 2 for Z690: i have some Z690s that are already LOW in battery so you are advised to use a new Battery during this upgrade.

I'm sorry . Mokichu only has new drivers and firmware, he doesn't have BIOS. I went to the download section for the Z790 Hero and saw that it had BIOS ver 0805, so I wondered if it could be used for the Z790 Dark Hero?

It cannot, because it’s not the same board. a beta BIOS is not going to solve your problem, either.

Thank you for your reply❤️
We expect the Z790 Dark Hero to be on the list of this topic. Please ...

On a gaming PC 48GB (2x24) is plenty. If you wanna overkill it, then 64GB (2x32). If you do content creation aswell, then 96GB (2x48). Anything over that, and you should buy an AMD Threadripper 7000 system in my opinion.

Can you add BIOS for Z790 DARK HERO here? We really appreciate it and look forward to it

Any new bios updates? - seems 801 final isnt as good as beta 0071 which I am staying on at this point.

Which motherboard are you using?

Ahh

Apex Encore

0080 for the Encore. Told it's actually newer than 0801. Not sure if it's listed here, but you should be able to find it over at OC net.
