i will use this as a collection of test bioses/tools/info targeted towards Raptorlake + z69/790

NOTE for Z690: You must update ME on your Z690 to properly support raptorlake (if you are on dual bioses then you need to do this to both bioses)

1) d/l and install ME driver
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/03CHIPSET/DRV_MEI_Intel_Cons_ADL_TP_W11_64_V2229320_20220809B....

2) update ME with ME Update Tool (I know there are newer versions but its not up on Asus official site yet so >= this version is fine)
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/03CHIPSET/MEUpdateTool_16.1.25.1885_T.zip

3) update to Latest BIOS of your choice

Note 2 for Z690: i have some Z690s that are already LOW in battery so you are advised to use a new Battery during this upgrade.

yes it confirms, also on other motherboards adaptive is not working
this is a *problem that occured on previous bios*
*
There is also a problem on tpm on 2201 this option on 2103 is missing on it and Windows security center does not detects tpm on some reboots : https://www.overclock.net/threads/official-asus-strix-maximus-z690-owners-thread.1794802/post-290761...

*Cheers

Yes adaptive was not working before 1720 BIOS too. then I updated to latest 2004 and later i read post on forum that asus disabled roll back and wasn't able to go back on 1720 they should have mentioned that first. Later they updated the site.

btw am not facing tpm missing prob. First time i faced after updating to 2103. TPM option in bios was missing then I flashed bios using PD and after that never faced it.

its not the option of tpm thats missing you still have trusted plataform on 2201 its a setting inside it, that was present on 2103*

You can see that on my post on overclockers*

Adaptive mode is not working for me from last 2 updates so I tried beta BIOS 2201 and it's still not working. It was working on 1720.

MB = Z690 Extreme

it is a ucode bug, disable bclk aware adaptive voltage to work around this bug.

Yes I tried but windows crashing continuously. Not even into windows login.
Also in bios it was showing chinese sometimes after booting into bios.
I tried to roll back to 2201 but I wasn't able to but was able to rollback to 2103.

is 2203 a final bios?
will we see it on the motherboard's official page?

DDR4 on TUF Z690 is crappy like before with 2203 on Raptor Lake.
