i will use this as a collection of test bioses/tools/info targeted towards Raptorlake + z69/790

NOTE for Z690: You must update ME on your Z690 to properly support raptorlake (if you are on dual bioses then you need to do this to both bioses)

1) d/l and install ME driver

2) update ME with ME Update Tool (I know there are newer versions but its not up on Asus official site yet so >= this version is fine)

3) update to Latest BIOS of your choice

Note 2 for Z690: i have some Z690s that are already LOW in battery so you are advised to use a new Battery during this upgrade.

Flashed 0702 for the MZ790E this morning but still with code 55 on the GSkill 6400 kit. Won't post. Swapped to the Samsung GSkill 6000 kit and it came right up.

What does your serial number of the G.Skill 6400 stick read at the end? 820M or 820A?

I don’t think that’s the serial number. There’s one number that ends …820M but the serial number is totally different. Maybe that’s part of the part number. Kit is F5-6400J3239G16GX2-TZ5RK. There is no OC of course. Can not get into the bios to OC. This is after a CMOS clear with flash of a new bios. Everything is at default. This kit is on the QVL list.
