As the title said, I got qcode 98 error on my motherboard. NONE OF THESE ACTIONS WORKS:
1. clear CMOS (already tried 3~4 times)
2. Unplug all USB (tried for 2 times, will cause d7 if unplug keyboard and mouse. Also changing keyboard is useless)
3.Unplug A2 RAM and left B2 only (tried)
4.close power supply until it's fully shut down(tried for 2 times)
ALSO after the boot is successful, i will also face another problem: automatically restart after shutting the pc down in any ways. I've tried changing reg, changing what the power buttons do amd some other actions included reset CMOS, none of these work

Thanks for apologising, appreciate it can be frustrating.
You don't need to have successful POST to use USB flashback.
Simply used the packaged renamer exe to rename the file then copy the file to a freshly FAT32 formatted USB pen drive.
Use the designated USB port on the motherboard's rear I/O and then hold for 2 to 3 seconds. Process should take roughly 2 to 3 minutes.
When the blue indicator stops flashing, power up the system.

Ok I finally find where the problem is. As Silent_Scone suggested I try to use another laptop to format the flash drive and put the bios image into it. I fix the qcode 98 problem by using flashbacks function. And i found that my pcie remote boot card will cause the pc restart if Erp is on. After turning off Erp the restart problem also fixed. Thanks you guys!!

Hello Doc656
Code 98 = Console Input Devices Connect.
Try disconnecting all usb devices except your mouse and keyboard.
If you still get code 98, try a different mouse and keyboard if you have them.

Are you blind or something? I already said i've tried to disconnect all my devices and i will receive a d7. Also Changing keyboard will do nothing with this problem.

Including internal headers? Also, watch your tone - speaking to anyone, let alone moderators trying to assist you in that manner, will result in a ban.

Sorry about that but I already debuging for several hours and the problem never ends.

Sorry about that.
When testing with one stick of memory use the A2 slot.
Code d7 = No Console Input Devices are found, code 98 and d7 seem to be related.
You cleared the cmos and that didn't help.
Try different usb ports, if that doesn't help, try updating the bios with the bios flashback feature.
If you need help updating the bios just say so.

Yea I also tried that too. Or i should say because I updated the bios to the latest version so the problem exists. Different usb prot is not gonna work. Currently i cannot update the bios through flashback because i cannot turn on this pc and i have no other pc.
