prime z690-p d4 wifi : a 5 sec delay after pressing the power button

Hello ! I have an annoying, but not so serious issue that I need help on. There's a consistent 5 to 6 second delay after pressing the power button before all the lights turn on and everything starts booting up. It's a newly built PC .
Does anyone else have the same problem? is it a non-critical error, which can be fixed with the next bios, or is it the case that I open a rma?
the ram is a G.Skill Trident Z F4-3600C16D-32GTZN - , 2x16 GB DDR4 3600 MHz cpu : intel i7 12700 psu 850w seasonics focus gold
thank you

there is another possibility. Are u running win 10 or 11? If on Win 10, is your system drive using MBR or GPT partition? GPT is supposed to be faster. I never did a careful comparison myself.Â*

thank you too ! through that post that you linked to me I recovered a bios ver. 1011 upgraded by shamino1978 (on the asus site there is still ver. 0605) which solves the incompatibility problems with my ram! no more delay now! thx you !! I was rly close to taking everything apart and shipping my mobo for rma! THANK YOU THANK YOU !

So the delay was ram instability you think? That was my first thought, I remember some similar delay when I was troubleshooting my first ram kit. Great news, happy for you.

Here is a post by Shamino1978, who is a bios engineer for Asus working on the Z690.

EDIT:
Forgot to say that I have the same behavior on my 690 Apex and 690 Strix D4. It's normal. I thought it was an issue myself, but I trust Shamino.

thank you very much for the reply, but i didn't understand what i should do. Could you explain it to me better? my english is bad sorry ,i have to wait a fix ? if I understand correctly, he says this is normal. But if so, why doesn't it happen to everyone who has an asus z690?
also if this is true, why asus assistance told me to open a rma?
p.s ,my pc after i push the power botton dont move its freezed ! no one led no startup noise ..it is as if turned off..does this happen to you too?
