I am running an asus prime z790m-plus (Newest 1805 bios) and windows 11. About 25% of the time when I boot up my power button lights up and stays solid like it should. The other 75% of the time the power button will flash on and off in 4 second intervals, the way it would if someone had put the pc to sleep. Anyone know what may be causing this and how to fix it? I built this PC a few years ago and it hasn't always done this I think it probably started about a year ago after a win11 update.

Maybe your connectors are reversed, and you connected + to ground (-).
It is tricky, check your motherboard. Each connector has little arrow sign, I don't recall if it means + or ground, but you need to be very careful when connecting them.
